The Left Behind Cancer Foundation is proud to announce its upcoming Bald Cancer Walk. This event celebrates the life of Patrecia Smith while raising critical funds for the foundation’s core programs, including student mentorship and financial assistance for children who have lost a parent to cancer.
The hallmark of the event is its visual show of support: participants shave their heads or wear bald wigs to symbolize the hair loss often associated with cancer treatment. This act of empathy is designed to foster a deep sense of community and understanding for those currently battling the disease.
“Every step we take is about more than fundraising,” says Founder Sonia Keeton-White. “It’s about showing these families that they aren’t facing the aftermath of cancer alone.”
